Sarah was christened on March 11th, 1792, so her birth could have been late 1791 or early 1792. It would made her about 14 when she stitched her sampler.
Sarah married Joseph Neal on 11 June 1818, in Benington, Lincolnshire, England. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 5 daughters.

The reproduction shows what the sampler would have looked like back in the day. There are a few areas you can see the fabric would have been light. The ground fabric is much more fragile than the threads themselves.

You are receiving two complete Pattterns!

Design size is 193 x 219 stitches and the adaptation pictured below is 381 x 94 stitches.

The cover model is stitched on 36 count Cream & Sugar by FOAW using Ginnie Thompson Flower Threads. The adaptation is stitched on 36 count Dunes by FOAW with GT Flower Threads. There is a total of nine colors. You will need 1 skein DMC or Flower Thread bobbin of each of the colors except DMC 372/GT 400 and DMC 934/GT 470 will require 2 skeins/bobbins

This pattern PDF consists of 28 pages of color and black/white charts.
The PDF file of the pattern will be available for INSTANT DOWNLOAD once payment is confirmed.

There is a single page included for those that like to use a stitching app.
