Such a delightful little sampler to add to your collection, from Sussex England. Frances was about 10 years old when she stitched this and she lived to quite an old age. She was baptized on 5 May 1805. I am so glad she is once again her sweet sampler has come to life. A miniature sampler measuring only 5.25 by 7.50 inches.
The last image shows an alternative, backstitched "Y" for those that want to stich the pattern on Aida cloth.
Stitched Area: 95 by 135 stitches, the model is stitched on 36 count natural linen by Zweigart
The pattern consists of a color image of the finished design, instructions, and a list of thread colors; A color & black and white symbol chart spread over several sheets for printing.
