Miss Jane Woodman is a darling 1837 English Sampler. Easy to stitch with many motifs and very little lettering. There is an insert with two cartouche versions - Aida and linen. your choice. Stitch the cartouche first and then enter the lettering of your choice.
Use one strand of Flower thread. You should not use a higher count linen than 36 count linen or 18 count Aida..
Aida/Linen
14/28 count - design size is 14.75 x 19.25 cut fabric 21 by 25 inches
16/32 count - design size is 12.75 x 16.75 cut fabric 19 by 23 inches
18/36 count - design size is 11.50 x 15.00 cut fabric 17 by 21 inches
20/40 count - design size is 10.25 x 13.50 cut fabric 16 by 20 inches (Use only silk or DMC for this count)
