Fine d’Aubusson wool embroidery thread is a line of threads produced by Au Ver a Soie. Fine d’Aubusson is a fairly soft, fine wool, and it is a very consistent wool, without any uneven areas that can be found in other wool threads. It is mostly used for Crewel work, but can be used with a 14 or 28 count fabric. When using Aida remember to stitch the "not-over-one" version of jane Parson.
