Harriet Charlesworth 1822 Sampler Pattern PDF

This is a stunning early 19th-century sampler. I find it interesting that the only damage on the sampler is the area where the date would have been. Harriet was born 24 June 1807 in Penistone, Yorkshire, England. She would have stitched this sampler in 1822. Design Area:  225 Wide stitches wide by 269 stitches high

The original was stitched using silk threads on a 36ct wool canvas and the size was 12.5 x 14.5 inches. There are 14 DMC colors used in this chart. Aida will not work as there are over-one section.

28ct 16.00 x 19.25 cut fabric 22 x 25
32ct 14.00 x 16.75 cut fabric 20 x 23
36ct 12.50 x 15.00 cut fabric 19 x 21 (this is closest to the original size)
40ct 11.25 x 13.50 cut fabric 17 x 19
