A stunning Georgian embroidery sampler by Mary Saunders 1818. With the alphabet and floral designs with stags and acorns. It has a wonderful woodland feel to it. The border is so unusual along with the adorable rabbits on the trees.
This sampler is in spectacular condition being 206 years old, with no loss or holes. There is some discoloration along the center.
Frame size 17 by 17 inches. Silk on linen.
