A darling American sampler from 1825. This original design is stitched on 32ct marbled linen with Ginnie Thompson Flower threads. Soft muted colors and a pleasing composition make it so charming.
I consider this a miniature sampler as it is only 6.5 by 6.5 inches square.
This sampler lends itself to linen or Aida
