A sweet little miniature cross stitch sampler measuring only 7.25 by 7.75 inches if stitched on 18 or 36 count fabric. This is a great sampler to pick up when the days are more dreary and you want a little cheer. This sampler is dedicated to Christine T. a lovely lady that inspired the sampler. Her Welsh grandmother’s home was called Clogwyn Cottage in the Rhondda Valley. It inspired all sorts of dreamy things for me.
The model was stitched on 36ct "Milk & Honey" by Fiber on a Whim fabric (FOAW) using Anchor floss, Threadgatherer overdyed Silk and Mill Hill beads ( see supply list at the end of the pattern.)
Stitched Area: 131 wide by 140 high
Below are the measurements of the design, and the cut fabric sizes that allow for finishing
14ct/28ct 9.50" x 10.00" - cut fabric 15 x 16
16ct/32ct 8.25" x 8.75" - cut fabric 14 x 15
18ct/36ct 7.25" x 7.75" - cut fabric 13 x 14
The pattern consists of a color image of the finished design, instructions, and a list of floss colors; A color & black and white symbol chart spread over several A4 sheets for printing. A single page of the pattern is also included for PatternKeeper or similar apps.
