consists of alphabet & motif Sampler from 1829. 
With very beautiful, unusual motifs in very delicate, fine embroidery. Sampler signed "A U" in the bottom cartouche and the date "1829" is in the motif in the upper right corner.
Edge trimmed in pale pink silk.
A rare collector's item for collectors of antique textile art.

Condition:
The cloth is well preserved for its age, but has two damages to the left and right of the central floral bouquet. These do not detract from the overall aesthetic, but rather underline the authenticity and historical character of the piece.
