Little Bunny Shepherd Sampler Pattern 1815 Printed Version

Such a delightful little sampler to add to your collection, from Sussex England. Frances was about 10 years old when she stitched this and she lived to quite an old age. She was baptized on 5 May 1805. I am so glad she is once again with us in May 2022. Another miniature sampler measuring only 5.5 by 7.75 inches.

Design Area: 100 stitches wide by 140 stitches high.

Stitched Area: 5-1/2 inches (14.1cm) wide by 7-3/4 inches (19.8cm) high

Fabric size: 12 inches (29cm) wide by 14 inches (35cm) high this includes 3 inches (8cm) allowance on all sides for finishing or framing.

The measurements given are for 36ct natural linen. Two strands of floss are used for all stitches including the satin stitches. The satin stitches go over four threads (two stitches high).

The pattern consists of a color image of the finished design, instructions, and a list of floss colors; A color & black and white symbol chart spread over several A4 sheets for printing.
