The flower threads allows you to stitch on a slightly higher count than the wool and it is great (and cheaper) alternative to the wool. Shown here, the framed Jane Parson on 36 count Dulce De Leche by FOAW. The other fabric sample is 18 count Wheat by FOAW.
I would not stitch the over one version with these on 36ct. You might be able to do the over one with a half cross (tent stitch)
